NS401 Competitive Stream

North SEERA’s Top U11 Team

NS401 is North SEERA’s top-tier U11 team. It is designed for players looking for a more competitive, development-heavy experience with additional ice time, structured development, and a higher level of commitment.

Evaluations & Team Selection

All players registered in U11 will participate in standard North SEERA evaluations.

Based on evaluation results, players may be identified for the NS401 Competitive Stream.

Families of selected players will be contacted prior to final team placement to confirm their interest and commitment to the additional expectations of the program.

What Makes NS401 Different?

More Ice Time

Players can expect a heavier schedule with practices, games, and added development sessions.

Development Focus

Additional sessions are built around skill growth, skating, confidence, and hockey habits.

Higher Commitment

Players and families should be ready for a stronger commitment to attendance and team activities.

Competitive Environment

NS401 is intended for players ready to compete at a higher U11 level within the EFHL.

Time Commitment

Families should expect a higher time commitment than other U11 teams.

  • Typically 3–4 ice sessions per week
  • Includes practices, games, and built-in development sessions
  • Weeknight and weekend activity should be expected
  • Tournaments and exhibition games may be added throughout the season

Additional Development

NS401 includes additional development opportunities outside the regular schedule. These sessions are intended to support player growth and provide a more complete development experience.

  • Additional development sessions do come at an extra cost
  • Attendance is strongly recommended for NS401 players
  • Sessions may include skating, skill development, team concepts, or goalie-specific training

Cost Expectations

North SEERA works to balance affordability with strong programming. NS401 families should expect costs beyond the base registration fee.

  • Base U11 registration fee
  • Additional development costs
  • Team seed money for tournaments and extras
  • Final costs depend on team programming and season plans

Player & Family Expectations

  • Strong attendance commitment
  • Positive attitude and coachability

  • Family support for additional team and development commitments
  • Respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents
